What We Do

At MTB Line Striping, we provide expert striping that restores faded lines and enhances your property’s appearance. We handle standard parking lines, ADA spaces, fire lanes, directional arrows, reserved spaces, EV spaces and a variety of other pavement markings, ensuring your parking lot looks organized, safe and impressive to your customers.

Line Re-striping

Clear, visible parking lines are essential for safety, organization, and compliance. Faded or worn lines can confuse drivers, create hazards, and even lead to code violations. Standard re-striping restores your lot to a professional appearance that leaves a positive impression on customers, tenants, and visitors.
Using industry-standard, high-visibility traffic paint, I carefully clean and prepare each lot, then apply precise, regulation-sized lines, arrows, and markings. This ensures that every space is safe, organized, and compliant with ADA and local regulations.
For most property managers, re-striping every 1–3 years is recommended, depending on traffic volume, exposure to harsh weather, and lot usage. High-traffic areas may need more frequent attention, while lightly used lots can go longer between services. Regular re-striping reduces confusion, improves safety, and enhances curb appeal, helping your property make a strong professional impression year after year.

ADA Compliance

Ensuring your parking lot meets ADA regulations is essential for safety, accessibility, and legal compliance. Faded or missing handicap spaces, access aisles, or signage can lead to violations, fines, or frustrated visitors. Failing to meet ADA requirements may expose your property to legal liability and penalties.

We provide precise re-striping and updating of ADA spaces to ensure your parking lot meets all federal standards outlined by the U.S. Access Board. These codes cover minimum numbers of accessible spaces, proper space dimensions, van-accessible requirements, hatched access aisles, and signage.

At least 1 accessible space for every 25 total spaces. A 5 foot access asisle must be provided on the side of the parking space.

1 of every 6 accessible spaces must be van-accessible, with an 8-foot-wide access aisle.

Each accessible space must be clearly marked with the international wheelchair symbol and proper signage.

The access aisle must have diagonal striping to indicate no-parking zones.

Failing to meet ADA requirements can result in fines up to $75,000 for a first violation — and even more for repeat offenses.

Fire Lane & No Parking Zone

Properly marked fire lanes and no parking zones are essential for safety, compliance, and emergency access. Clearly defined zones ensure that emergency vehicles can access your property quickly and that drivers understand restricted areas, preventing fines or potential safety hazards.

We provide precise fire lane striping, curb painting, and no parking zone markings, using high-visibility paint to clearly communicate restrictions. All markings are compliant with local fire codes and regulations, helping you avoid liability and maintain a professional appearance.

Under the Massachusetts Comprehensive Fire Safety Code (527 CMR 1.00), properties must maintain clearly marked fire lanes to ensure emergency vehicle access. These lanes must have a minimum width of 20 feet and be kept unobstructed. If the lane is between 20 and 24 feet wide, it may only need to be marked on one side. If the access road exceeds 28 feet in width, no markings are required. Fire lanes in front of commercial buildings are typically marked with red or yellow paint and labeled “FIRE LANE – NO PARKING”

Failing to maintain proper fire lane markings can result in significant penalties: Under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 148, Section 10B, individuals who knowingly violate fire safety regulations may face fines ranging from $100 to $1,000.
